Recipe repost

Since I, uh, can't sign in to my other blog, I thought I'd repost the recipe for creamy broccoli & bacon fettuccine here. So yeah.

CREAMY BROCCOLI & BACON FETTUCCINE

500g fresh fettuccine pasta

30g butter
1 small onion
2 bacon rashers, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
250g broccoli, finely chopped
1/2 cup (125ml) chicken stock
300ml cream
2 tbs grated Parmesan cheese

Add pasta to large pan of boiling water, boil, uncovered, until just tender; drain, keep warm.
Heat butter in pan, add onion, bacon & garlic, cook, stirring until onion is soft.
Add broccoli and stock, cook, covered, 5 minutes.
Stir in cream & cheese, bring to boil, simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly.
Mix sauce through pasta.

SERVES 4
