Currently tracing over a picture of Arcueid from Tsukihime in order to make the outline for a fan character. Stopped paying attention to what I was listening to a while ago. Back to tracing nao! My dad's working on an extension for the house that will be our new kitchen and bathroom, and he's playing the radio, so that's what I can hear. 100.9 SeaFM is the station. It's my favourite, so I think he set it to that for me. It's currently playing "Times Like These" by the Foo Fighters. Great band. Rose out.

Recipe repost

Since I, uh, can't sign in to my other blog, I thought I'd repost the recipe for creamy broccoli & bacon fettuccine here. So yeah.

CREAMY BROCCOLI & BACON FETTUCCINE

500g fresh fettuccine pasta
30g butter
1 small onion
2 bacon rashers, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
250g broccoli, finely chopped
1/2 cup (125ml) chicken stock
300ml cream
2 tbs grated Parmesan cheese

Add pasta to large pan of boiling water, boil, uncovered, until just tender; drain, keep warm.
Heat butter in pan, add onion, bacon & garlic, cook, stirring until onion is soft.
Add broccoli and stock, cook, covered, 5 minutes.
Stir in cream & cheese, bring to boil, simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly.
Mix sauce through pasta.

SERVES 4
